WHAT IS THE eTA CANADA?
The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is a mandatory entry requirement for citizens of visa-exempt countries traveling to Canada by air. Introduced by Canadian government in 2016, it allows travelers to visit Canada for tourism, business, or transit without a traditional visa. The eTA is electronically linked to your passport and is valid for up to 5 years or until your passport expires.

Important Considerations
Validity and Renewal: eTA is valid for two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. To travel again after expiration, you must apply for a new authorization.
Purpose of Travel: eTA can only be used for tourism, business, or transit. It is not valid for other purposes such as studying or working.
